July Camp Report 2019

“Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.” - Colossians 3:16 NLT

The camp season is here again! Right from the outset, there was a very happy and peaceful atmosphere that covered the entire week.

Here is a breakdown of the different meetings that took place this week and the ministers that spoke:

We started the week with a sermon from Alison Speirs, who spoke about how God can change parts of our characters, on Monday night.

On Tuesday, Jennifer Jack spoke in the morning meeting, while the night meeting was led by Grace Gault who spoke about how even the smallest sins in our life can block us from getting into the full presence of God.

On Wednesday morning, Alison Speirs spoke again about change and illustrated this with some testimonies about how God has changed lives and personalities. Then at night, Diana Rutherford preached about going through into deliverance for sins that are in our lives.

Thursday mornings sermon was by Jennifer Offord who spoke about Joseph and how even in difficult circumstances God can come and bring peace into a situation. Grace Gault preached in the evening meeting about how attractive the holiness of God is and how we should seek to get deeper into the presence of God.

On Friday morning, Diana Rutherford spoke about having confidence in the calling of God for your life and Jennifer Jack spoke at the last night meeting on Psalm 23 and expanded on the different verses within this psalm.

The key point that I remember when I think about this particular July Camp would be the United Choir when they sang “This Blood” with such a sense of belief that all our sins can truly be washed away through the blood of Jesus.
