Dedication of Bethany Oakley Revolta

by Susie Jean Sharkey

Last week we had a wonderful dedication service followed by lunch. Bethany is the latest edition to our church family and it was lovely to see her with her mum (Jenny) and dad (Will) along with a lot of members of their family in attendance.

Weekend Work Party

by Susie Jean Sharkey

The fabric of the church building (whatever and where ever that building may be) needs to be maintained. This weekend a number of our church members brought all their skills together and did a magnificent work in the upkeep of our own church in Glasgow. Below are some photos of a job well done. A heartfelt thanks to all who took part.

New Year Conference 1 January 2019

by Susie Jean Sharkey

Two verses were given to us particularly for the year that lies ahead:

See, I am sending an angel before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you.
Exodus 23:20 NLT

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.
1 John 5:14 AKJV

We had a wonderful conference to herald in the New Year and our united choir sang on two occasions

An evening of Christmas worship

by Susie Jean Sharkey

We had a lovely Sunday night service tonight, 23 December. Three different choirs sang; first the children’s choir then the men’s choir followed by the Glasgow Church choir. We had readings from the Christmas story then Alison Speirs spoke about understanding Christmas. What a wonderful time of Christmas worship we had in His presence.
